tickets to our 7th annual convening of the banh chung collective are now available!

Banh chung is a banana leaf-wrapped dumpling made of sticky rice, shallots, mung beans, and pork (or peanuts for vegetarians). It's beyond delicious and it's super fun to make in a group. We will provide all the ingredients and equipment. You show up and join the communal fun. Don't worry if you've never made banh chung before. We'll have plenty of past attendees to help guide beginners through the steps. A light lunch will be served and at the end of the event, and attendees will get to bring home the banh chung they've made.
